Countable and Uncountable noun example
hello, friends today we are talking about Countable and Uncountable nouns which is another classification of noun
A word that refers to a person, place, thing, event, substance, or quality; can be either countable or uncountable.
Countable nouns have singular and plural forms while uncountable nouns can be used only in the singular form.
1. Countable Noun-गणनीय संज्ञा जिन्हें गिना जा सकता है। अर्थात जिनकी counting की जा सकती हे
Example:-book, girl, man, cow, city, paper, watch, house, etc.
2. Uncountable Noun-अगणनीय संज्ञा जिन्हें गिना नहीं जा सकता है। अर्थात जिनकी counting नहीं की जा सकती हे
Example:- milk, sugar, honesty, love, hate, money, oil, etc.

1. many and how many का use हम countable noun के साथ करते है।
many and how many का प्रयोग संख्या (number) का बोध कराने के लिए ‘बहुत ‘ के अर्थ में plural countable noun के पहले किया जाता है।यहाँ how many = कितना plural countable noun
Example:- Countable and Uncountable noun example
- I do have not many friends in the town. मेरे इस शहर में अधिक दोस्त नहीं है।
- have you many problems. क्या आपको बहुत परेशानियाँ है?
- how many books do you have? आपके पास कितनी किताबे है ?
- how many cars did he have? उसके पास कितनी कारे थी ?
2. much and how much का use हम uncountable noun के साथ करते है। Countable and Uncountable noun example
much and how much का प्रयोग मात्रा (quantity) का बोध कराने के लिए ‘बहुत ‘ के अर्थ में singular uncountable noun के पहले किया जाता है। यहाँ how much= कितना singular uncountable noun
Example:-
- I don’t know how much money he spent on his marriage. में नहीं जनता की उसने उसकी शादी में कितने पैसे खर्च किये ?
- have you much money? क्या आपके पास बहुत पैसे है ?
- How much knowledge do you have? आपके पास कितना ज्ञान (नॉलेज) है?
