Definition and Examples:- What are proper noun

1.  proper noun:- A proper noun is a name given to a particular person, place, or thing.

किसी विशेष व्यक्ति, प्राणी ,स्थान ,या वस्तु को proper noun कहते हे !proper noun का पहला अक्षर  हमेशा capital में लिखा जाता हे:

Example:-

person⇒Ram, Shyam, Tommy, etc.

place⇒Agar, Dehli, Kolkata.

thing⇒fan, book, Gita,

(a)  Subash Chander Bose was a famous leader.

(b) The Ramayana is a sacred book.

(c) Agra is known as the city of taj.

(d) Rajan was born on thursday.

इन वाक्यों में subhash chander bose एक particular person का नाम हे :Ramayan एक particular book का नाम हे ,agra एक particular place का नाम हे और taj एक particular monument हे और rajan एक particular boy का नाम हे और thursday एक particular दिन का नाम हे इसलिए यह proper noun हे !
