We use this expression before another verb to say that we are just going to do something. It is used to refer to things that will happen in a very near future.

1.  In present time ⇒ वाला है ,वाली है ,वाले है।

2.  In past time ⇒ वाला था ,वाली थी  ,वाले थे।

3.  In future time ⇒ वाला होगा ,वाली होगी ,वाले होंगे।

Structure⇒ sub+ is, am, are+ about to+V1+Obj+.

Example:-

1. राम बाजार जाने वाला है।
2. वै नई कार खरीदने वाले है।
3. में अभी यहाँ से निकलने वाला हु।
4. देव स्कूल जाने वाला है।
5. वह यहाँ आने वाला है।
6. आप इंग्लिश सिकने वाले है।
7. बारिश होने वाली है।

English translation

1. ram is about to go to school.
2. They are about to buy a new car.
3. I am about to leave from here right now.
4. Dev is about to go to school.
5. He is about to come here.
6. You are about to learn english.
7. Rain is about to start./it is about rain.

Negative sentences

Structure⇒ sub+ is, am, are+ not+ about to+V1+Obj+.

Example:-

1. राम बाजार नहीं जाने वाला है।
2. वै नई कार नहीं खरीदने वाले है।
3. में अभी यहाँ से नहीं निकलने वाला हु।
4. देव स्कूल नहीं जाने वाला है।
5. वह यहाँ नहीं आने वाला है।
6. आप इंग्लिश नहीं सिखने वाले है।
7. बारिश नहीं होने वाली है।

English translation

1. ram is not about to go to school.
2. They are not about to buy a new car.
3. I am not about to leave from here right now.
4. Dev is not about to go to school.
5. He is not about to come here.
6. You are not about to learn english.
7. Rain is not about to start./it is not about to rain.

Interrogative sentences
