Definition:- A conjunction is a word that joins two or more two words, phrases, clauses, or sentences.

conjunction वह शब्द है , जो दो या दो से अधिक words, phrases, clauses or sentences.को जोड़ता है।

TYPES OF CONJUNCTION IN HINDI

मुख्यतः conjunction तीन प्रकार के होते है। there are three types of conjunction

1. Coordinating conjunction
2. Subordinating conjunctions
3. Correlative conjunctions

1.  ( Coordinating conjunction )समन्वय संयोजक:- Kinds of conjunctions

Coordinate का अर्थ होता है समान श्रेणी / कोटि का इसका प्रयोग हमेशा समान श्रेणी / कोटि के words, phrases, clauses or sentences.को जोड़ने के लिए किया जाता है।

1. cumulative or copulative:

1. And
2. Both…and
3. As well as
4. No less than
5. not only but also

2. Alternative or disjunctive:

1. Or
2. either…or 
3. Neither…nor
4. Otherwise/else

3. Adversative :

1. but
2. Still/yet
3. Nevertheless
4. Whereas/while
5. Only

4. Illative :

1. For
2. Therefore
3. So/consequently

2. ( Subordinating conjunctions ):-

Subordinate का शाब्दिक अर्थ होता है -आश्रित या दूसरे पर निर्भर रहने वाला इसका प्रयोग Subordinate clause (आश्रित व्याख्यांश )को principal clause(प्रधान वाक्यांश ) को जोड़ने के लिए किया जाता है।

After, as far as, as if, as long as, as soon as, because, before, even if, every time, if, since, though, so that, then, unless, until, when, whenever, wherever while.

3 . Correlative conjunctions:- 

Correlative conjunctions का प्रयोग एक noun को दूसरे noun या pronoun से, एक pronoun को दूसरे noun या pronoun से, एकadjective  को दूसरे adjective  से, एक adverb को दूसरे adverb से, एक subject को दूसरे subject से, एक object को दूसरे object से जोड़ने के लिए किया जाता है। 

1. either…or 
2. Neither…nor
3. Both…and
4. As well as
5. No less than
6. Not only…but also

Correlative conjunctions, Coordinating conjunction की श्रेणी में आते है।
