Use of had

When you need to talk about two things that happened in the past and one event started and finished before the other one started, place “had” before the main verb for the event that happened first.

simple sentences में Had का use हम बीते समय में जो चीजे , सुख सुविधा हमारे पास थी उसे बताने के लिए भी हम हद का उपयोग करते हे। जैसे:- राम के पास पैसे थे। उसके पास एक कार थी। 

आइये , उदाहरणों के माध्यम से इसे अच्छे से समझते हे। 

We use had with all subjects  सभी subjects के साथ हम Had का use करते है।                 

                                 Affirmative sentences:

देव के पास एक TV थी|dev had a T.V.

पुजा के तीन भाई थे | pooja Had three brothers.

मेरे पास कुछ नहीं था |I had nothing. I didn’t have anything.

उसके पास सब कुछ था |he had everything.

                               Negative sentence: didn’t have

उसके पास एक पेन नहीं था |

he didn’t have a pen.

सिमरन के पास एक लेपटॉप नहीं था | 

  simran didn’t have a laptop

दिव्यांश के पास पैसे नहीं थे | 

Divyansh didn’t have money.

                 Interrogative sentence: yes/no question

क्या देव के पास एक TV थी? did dev have a T.V.

क्या पुजा के तीन भाई थे?  did pooja have three brothers.

क्या मेरे पास कुछ नहीं था? did I have nothing. didn’t I have anything?

क्या उसके पास सब कुछ था? did he have everything.

                       InterrogaItive sentence: WH question

देव के पास एक TV कब थी? when did dev have a T.V.?

पुजा के कितने भाई थे? how many brothers did pooja have?

मेरे पास कुछ नहीं क्यों था? why did I have nothing. why didn’t I have anything?

उसके पास सब कुछ कैसे था? how did he have everything?

Past Perfect Tense

Use as Past Perfect Tense With Hindi examples  Use of had

ऐसे sentences  के last में चूका था, चुकी, चुके थे, या लिया था, किया था, कर लिया था, आते है | इस tense से हमें पता चलता हे की कोई कार्य भूतकाल में पूरा हो गया था इस tense को बनाने के लिए सभी subjects (कर्ताओ ) के साथ helping verb HAD का use करते है तथा main verb की always third  form लिखते है |Past Perfect Tense

Affirmative sentences  सकारात्मक वाक्य:

  1. राधा ऑफिस  चली गई थी |   –  Radha had gone to office.
  2. हमने उसे बुलाया था |    –  We had called him.
  3. देव ने उन्हें हंसाया था | –  Dev had made them laugh.
  4. उन्होंने  हमें वंहा जाते हुवे देख लिया था |  They had seen us going there.
  5. में उसे आमंत्रित कर चूका था |   I had invited him.
  6. वह उसके भाई के साथ फिल्म देख चूका था |   He had watched movie with his brother
  7. मेरे वहां जाने से पहले वे जन्म दिन मना चुके थे |   they had celebrated birthday before I go there.
  8. उसने उसे समझा दिया था |    She had made him understand.
  9. राम ने यह श्याम के लिए किया था |   Ram had done this for shyam.
  10. सभी बच्चे स्कूल से घर आ चुके थे |    All children had come to Home from school.

Negative sentencesनकारात्मक वाक्य:

  1. उन्होंने  हमें वंहा जाते हुवे नहीं देखा था |They had not seen us going there.
  2. में उसे आमंत्रित नहीं कर चूका था |I had not invited him.
  3. वह उसके भाई के साथ फिल्म नहीं देख चूका था |He had not  watched movie with his brother
  4. मेरे वहां जाने से पहले वे जन्म दिन नहीं मना चुके थे |they had not celebrated birthday before I go there.
  5. वह उसे नहीं समझा चुकी थी|She had not made him understand.
  6. में वहा नहीं जा चूका था |I had not gone there.
  7. राधिका खाना नहीं बना चुकी थी |Radhika had not cooked food.
  8. अपने मुझे नहीं बताया था |you had not told me.
