category 01 ⇒    Types of sentences

these sentences have been classified according to their sense and meaningऐसे वाक्यों को इनके भाव व अर्थ के आधार पर वर्गीकृत किया गया है।

01 . Assertive sentences⇒ such types of sentences tell or state us a real fact, opinion, and ideasऐसे वाक्यों में कुछ बताया जाता है, या किसी बात का वर्णन किया जाता हे। 

Example:- 

  • my mom loves me a lot.
  • He is not a good boy.
  • Dev is my son.
  • I have no money at all.

02. Imperative sentences such as sentences used to give a permission command or request known as Imperative sentences.  इस तरह के वाक्य आज्ञा, आदेश या निवेदन को व्यक्त करते है। 

Example:- 

  • sit there.
  • let me speak.
  • let me come.

03. Exclamatory sentences these types of sentences are used to express joy, sadness, grief, emotion, fear, shock, etc.

इस तरह के वाक्य दुःख ,सुख , हैरानी प्रसन्नता डर आदि भावनाओ को व्यक्त  करते हे। 

Example:- 

  • Wow!
  • How lovely!
  • How sad!

category 02 ⇒ Types of sentences

01.Affirmative sentences ⇒ ऐसे वाक्य जिनमे न तो ‘नहीं’ और न ही प्रश्न पूछा हे तो इस तरह के वाक्यों को सकारात्मक या साधारण वाक्य कहा जाता। है 

Example:-

  • She is washing clothes.
  • Dev is making a noise.
  • They were going to the temple.
  • we have completed our work.
  • Ram and Rahim read the novel.

02. Negative sentences⇒ ऐसे वाक्य जिनमे नहीं का प्रयोग होता है तथा जिनमे प्रश्न न पूछा गया हो तो ऐसे वाक्यों को Negative sentences कहा जाता है। 

Example:-

  • She is not washing clothes.
  • Dev is not making a noise.
  • They were not going to the temple.
  • we have not completed our work.
  • Ram and Rahim do not read the novel.

03. Interrogative sentences⇒ ऐसे वाक्य जिनमे प्रश्न पूछा जाये तो ऐसे वाक्यों को Interrogative sentences कहा जाता है। तथा ऐसे सेन्टेन्सेस के last में Question mark (?) लगा होता है। 

Example:-

  •  Is She washing clothes?
  • Is Dev making a noise?
  •  Were They going to the temple?
  •  Have We completed our work?
  • Did Ram and Rahim read the novel?

04.   Negative Interrogative sentences⇒ ऐसे वाक्य जो negative भी हो  और जिनमे प्रश्न भी  पूछा जाये तो Negative Interrogative sentences कहलाते है।  

Example:-

  •  Is She not washing clothes?
  • Is Dev not making a noise?
  •  Were They not going to the temple?
  •  Have We not completed our work?
  • Do Ram and Rahim not read the novel?

category 03 ⇒ Simple,  compound, and complex sentences 

01.  Simple sentences a sentence consisting of only one clause, with a single subject and predicate.

Example:-

  • He is a singer.
  • She reads a book.
  • Rahul is playing cricket.
  • mom has cooked food.
  • they are honest.

02. Comp compound sentences⇒: A compound sentence is a sentence made of two or more independent clauses, usually joined by a conjunction. A compound sentence has no dependent clauses.

Example:-

  • Ram was reading and Sita was writing.
  • The sun rose and we could see everything.
  • America is my favorite country; I plan to spend two weeks there next year.

03. complex sentences⇒ a complex sentence is a sentence that contains one independent clause and at least one dependent clause.

Example:-

  • Although he was wealthy, he was still unhappy.
  • She returned the computer after she noticed it was damaged.
  • Whenever the price goes up, customers buy fewer products.
  • Because I had to catch the train, I forgot to pack my toothbrush for our vacation as we were short on time.
  • As she was bright and ambitious, she became a manager in no time.
