Verb के दो प्रमुख प्रकार हैं – Transitive Verb और Intransitive Verb.

Transitive Verb(सकर्मक क्रिया):- What is transitive and intransitive verbs

A verb that requires an object to complete its meaning is called transitive verb जिस verb  क्रिया के साथ object  कर्म का प्रयोग किया जाय उसे transitive verb कहते हे|

  A verb that denotes an action that occurs, occurred, or will occur between the subject and the object in a sentence is called a transitive verb.

Example:-

  1. The patient needs medicine.
  2. Sohan plays football.
  3. Shyam writes a story.
  4. Rani sang a song.
  5. he wrote a letter.
  6. Dev likes sweets.
  7. admire your courage.
  8. We need to maintain product quality.
  9. I couldn’t face him today.
  10. She loves animals

 

Intransitive Verb(अकर्मक क्रिया  ):-

A verb that does not require an object to complete its meaning but has a complete meaning by itself is called an intransitive verb.जिस verb के  साथ किसी  object का प्रयोग  किये बिना (sentences )वाक्य का अर्थ पूरी तरह समझ आ जाय उसे intransitive verb कहते हे !

  1.  The bus stopped.
  2. Mohan sings.
  3. The child smiled.
  4. The baby was crying.
  5. work for a large firm in Paris.
  6. They laughed uncontrollably.
  7. We talked for hours.
  8. She eats.
  9. He runs.
  10. Priya was crying.
  11. Rohit has gone.
  12. I Went Mumbai in Ganesh pujan.
