Use of May and Might in Hindi
May और might का use संभावना व्यक्त करने के लिए किया जाता हे। जंहा may का use अधिक सम्भावना (More possibility ) को express करने के लिए किया जाता है ,वही might का use कम सम्भावना(less possibility )को express करने के लिए किया जाता है।
May:– वाक्य के last में सकता हे, सकती है , सकते है होते है। (for possibility )को express करने के लिए किया जाता है।
Might:-वाक्य के last में सकता था, सकती थी , सकते थे। होते है। (for less possibility and past of may )को express करने के लिए किया जाता है।
अगर हमारी सम्भावना strong हे तो हम May and Might की जगह पर Can और Could का use करेंगे। Can और Could के बारे में हम पिछली पोस्ट में पढ़ चुके है।

Use of may Use of May and Might in Hindi
1. May का प्रयोग to take and give permission (अनुमति लेने और अनुमति देने ) के भाव को express करने के लिए किया जाता है।
example :-
May I use your mobile?
क्या में आपका मोबाइल यूज़ कर सकता हूँ ?
may I come in, sir?
सर, क्या में अंदर आ सकता हूँ ?
May I go out, sir?
सर, क्या में बाहर जा सकता हूँ ?
May I live with you?
क्या में आपके साथ रह सकता हूँ ?
2 . May का प्रयोग possibility /uncertainty (सम्भावना और अनिश्चितता ) के भाव को express करने के लिए किया जाता है।
example :-
It may rain today. आज बारिश हो सकती है।
My father may go today. मेरे पिताजी आज जा सकते है।
He may buy a car. वह कार खरीद सकता है।
I may go out today. में आज बाहर जा सकता हूँ।
3. May का प्रयोगwish pray bless curse (इच्छा अभिलाषा प्राथना आशीर्वाद और अभिशाप) के भाव को express करने के लिए optative sentences में किया जाता है।
Example:-
May God forgive us.
भगवान हमें माफ़ करे।
May you live long.
तुम्हे मेरी उम्र भी लग जाये।
May you become a rich man.
भगवान् आपको बड़ा आदमी बनाये।
Use of Might
1. Might का use may के past tense के रूप में indirect speech में होता है।
He said, “you may go now”.
उसने कहा, “अब आप जा सकते हो”।
He said that I might go then.
He said, “May you live long”.
उसने कहा, “तुम्हे मेरी उम्र भी लग जाये”।
He blessed that I might live long.
2. may का use अधिक सम्भावना (More possibility ) को express करने के लिए किया जाता है ,वही might का use कम सम्भावना(less possibility )को express करने के लिए किया जाता है।
