Parts of speech in English:- Parts of speech are the classification of words categorized by their roles and functions within the structure of the language.

The eight Parts of speech (शब्द भेद )in English

• Noun- संज्ञा
• Pronoun – सर्वनाम
• Verb – क्रिया
• Adjective – विशेषण
• Adverb – क्रिया विशेषण
• Preposition –अव्यय
• Conjunction – संयोजक
• Interjection – विषमेधिबोधक

noun:-  Parts of speech in English

A noun is the name of any person, place, thing’s quality condition, and actions.

kinds of noun:-

Countable Noun.

Non-countable Noun.

• Proper Noun.
• Common Noun.
• Abstract Noun.
• Concrete Noun/material noun
• Collective Noun.

2.  pronoun:-  Parts of speech in English

A pronoun is a word that is used in place of a noun.

• Personal pronouns. Personal pronouns take the place of people or things. …

3.  Verb – क्रिया:-Parts of speech in English

A verb is a word or a combination of words that indicates action or a state of being or condition. A verb is the part of a sentence that tells us what the subject performs. Verbs are the hearts of English sentences.

4.  Adjective – विशेषण:-

An adjective describes or modifies nouns and pronouns in a sentence. It normally indicates quality, size, shape, duration, feelings, contents, and more about a noun or pronoun.

5.    Adverb – क्रिया विशेषण:- 

An adverb is a word that adds more information about the place, time, manner, cause, or degree to a verb, an adjective, a phrase, or another adverb

• We also use the WH question word as a conjunction

8.   Interjection – विषमेधिबोधक:-  Parts of speech in English

An interjection is a word added to a sentence to convey an emotion or a sentiment such as surprise, disgust, joy, excitement, or enthusiasm

Types of Interjection

• Interjections for Greeting.

• Interjections for Approval.
